About the Huntress Suite
This luxury 60m2 apartment was completely renovated and remodeled in 2020 to a very high standard. The rooms deliver style in abundance, the peacock colour theme helps this Victorian space come to life. The large living room combines the grandeur of the antique crystal chandelier and Chesterfield sofas, with the modern requirements of fast fibre broadband and a 55″ smart TV.
The kitchen has cooker/hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and that all important Nespresso coffee machine. It has all the utensils and accessories you would usually expect in short term holiday home and you can pop to the nearby shops to ensure you are all stocked up.
A large and cosy double bedroom with antique French style bed & wardrobe, Chesterfield sofa, and a 40″ smart TV ensures a relaxing stay. It has a well appointed bathroom with a large warm shower. For those ‘snuggle up’ days both new smart TV’s have all the usual video and entertainment apps with Netflix logged in and ready to go…and when the sun is shining you can catch some rays in the large south facing communal gardens. So whether you are having a quiet weekend away for two, celebrating an anniversary or birthday, you will not be disappointed.
Getting around
You will have use of one private parking space conveniently located just outside the entrance to the Huntress Suite, so guests that are arriving by car can park free of charge.
There is a train station in Buxton, which is only a 5/10 minute walk from us. If you want to travel by train, it is the ‘Northern’ line from Manchester to Buxton that stops here. Trains run every hour, and stop at a multitude of places on the way.
There are a variety of buses that come into Buxton, usually terminating at the market place. Again, this is only a short walk to the Huntress Suite.
For getting around and about during your stay if you dont have a car, there are a variety of buses and also some very good local taxi firms that can take you where ever you want to go!
